The ATO’s Small Business Superannuation Clearing
House (SBSCH) will shut down on 30th June 2026.
What does this mean for you?
If you run a business that has employees,
and you currently use SBSCH to pay your employees superannuation you will need
to find an alternative solution. Without a super clearing house solution, your
business will not be compliant and may face penalties.
What can you do to prepare for this
closure?
You will need to find an alternative
solution.
You may be able to use your default super
funds’ own super clearing house solution in place of SBSCH. Please contact them
directly to confirm.
There are commercial clearing house
solution providers which you can sign up to, but this will incur a charge for
the clearing house service.
